I just received this message from Gonzalo. He seems to like his Nereida!  I can’t wait to see some pictures of it in Spain.

I still don´t have photos on the sea, but believe: everybody turns and stare at her.
I can stand about 5-6 Knots, she surf waves, is stable…the perfect kayak??

Quick Update:  My Spanish customer, Gonzalo, called today to say he has taken delivery of his “Nereida” Njord!!  It arrived in one piece and unscratched.   YES!!  He’s trilled to finally see it in person.  He’s taking her out for the maiden voyage this weekend with his father.  I hope to [...]

When I received the call from Gonzalo last August saying he wanted a wooden kayak delivered to Spain, the first questions I had to myself were: How the heck do a ship a boat to Europe and how much is it going to cost?!?!  I started doing some research on-line [...]

The container ship arrived in Barcelona this weekend! It docked on Friday. It’s already been offloaded/loaded and has left for Haifa, Israel. Gonzalo should have her this week or next. I’ll keep you posted.
