Options Fiberglass Schedule

• Modified Light Weight Layup: Outside of Deck 3oz Satin E Cloth. Inside of Deck and Hull 4oz S-2 Cloth. Aft deck reinforced with wood and fiberglass deck beams.

Paint Options

• Exterior Color (System 3 WR-LPU): Bainbridge White – Rubbed to a Semi-Gloss Sheen
• Text: “BTD Black Pearl built for ACRby DNC, Summer 2007” in WHITE on inside of cockpit coaming (on rear). Font: Century Schoolbook. Text size: 18 pt.
• Interior painted same color as exterior – WHITE.

Coaming

• Solid Carbon Fiber w/ Full Recess
• Rough opening: 56 x 41 (22” x 16.14”), shaped similar to the Qaanaaq ocean cockpit.
• Lip dimensions (clearances): Height = 15mm (5/8”), Width = 12mm (1/2”) to fit Brooks tuilik.
• 1/2” concavity MAX.

Cockpit Outfitting

• Seat: 1/2″ Minicell Foam Seat Pad
• Backrest: Sculpted minicell foam velcroed in place.
• ACR to supply and install foam to pad out masik.

Deck Fittings & Lines

• Deck Fittings: Maroske fiberglass tube fittings.
• Deck Lines: 3/16″ Neocorp SportCord (Black). Locations per approval drawing.
• Sliders: Clear coated Black Walnut.
• Paddle Holders: Fore & Aft: Double 3/16” lines wrapped with cord.
• Handles: None.

End Tips

• Add solid-fiberglass Usuuappuu tips to ends.
• Clear coated, black tinted epoxy.

Bulkheads: Fiberglassed wood strip panels (3 oz Satin E glass).

Footbraces

• Foam on Bulkhead: Mounted to front bulkhead.

Hatches

• Fore & Aft: Beckson 8″ Round, Screw In, Solid Black.
• Lids to be tethered.
