Black Pearl: About the Project

It is a high-performance, wood-strip sea kayak designed by Björn Thomasson in Sweden. It was loosely based on East Greenlander hard-chine kayaks. Since very few have been built in the States (64 I believe) I am keeping a build log of the project to keep the Customer and the Designer updated on my progress and to assist other builders if they choose to build this wonderful boat.

Future projects may be done in a similar fashion if the Customer wishes.
