We also repair and restore wooden and fiberglass boats. We can do simple re-railing of canoes to the full restoration of a 1938 Peterborough PAL sailing dinghy. We perform either authentic or functional restorations.
We can also reskin your traditionally built or fuselage-style skin-on-frame kayak.
In the summer of 2010 Mary Ann approached us to restore her SOF. It was Willow Kayak's prototype of their Petrel design. A mouse family had made themselves comfortable and caused some minor damage. She had us reskin it using a tough multi-layer skin system using polypropylene fabric laminated to a base of heat-shrunk Dacron.
