2004 “TS Willy Nilly” Guillemot

This is Dan’s personal kayak and the first boat we ever built. Fun boat. It got it’s name because it was a bit of a handful at first. Real “willy nilly.” You get used to it fast. It is finished bright (clear) with a basic stripping stripping pattern. It has recessed wooden deck fittings. We used 1/4″ thick strips of Atlantic boat cedar and western red cedar with white pine, black cherry and walnut accents. The stems are ash. It has an expedition fiberglass level. The design on the deck is the sign of Dan’s horoscope, Virgo.
