You Can Purchase All Items Directly Through Us: Please call, email or visit us in Milan, NH. Let us know if you are interested in a particular piece of furniture or wish to have furniture custom designed to your needs.
If we are home, we are usually available to assist you Monday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST. With two young girls and two dogs, we’re usually wake early and go to sleep pretty early!
Most of the items we build are purely custom in nature and are displayed only as a reference as to the type of work that has been created for customers in the past. We will work with you individually to make your purchasing as easy as possible.
Purchasing Kayaks and Canoes through Saco Bound: Saco Bound in Conway, NH is an authorized reseller of boats we have crafted. At there location on RTE 302 in Center Conway, NH you can demo any of the boats they have in stock. They can take orders for custom boats and can ship your boat anywhere in the country.
Ordering and Payment: We build fine studio furniture and small boats to meet our customer needs and require a 25% deposit to initiate your order. For small boats 50% is due when the deck is joined to the hull. The balance is due prior to shipment. When you place your order we will provide a written quotation showing a description of the piece, the woods, and pricing, as well as an estimated delivery date. Please ensure that we have all of the information correct. Most orders take 8-16 weeks to complete. Being a part-time operation we work during the Spring and Autumn offseasons between summer hiking/paddling and winter skijoring. Projects can be built during peak seasons but will take much longer.
Custom Design Work: For custom design work we work directly with you. Design fees are included in the final price quote.
Payment: please contact us for the amount of your order and when payment is due. Mail it with a Check or Money Order in US Funds made out to Dan Caouette.
To place an order by phone, call 603.449.2654 Monday-Sunday from 7:00 to 7:00 PM EST. You may call at other hours and leave a messagew on our answering machine. Be sure to leave your contact information.
Our Mission and Guarantee: All items are unique in wood grain and some slight variations in size do occur. Every effort has been made by Clear Stream Fine Woodworking to show these items as accurately as possible. We want you to be completely satisfied with the quality of all fine furniture we sell. Should the furniture fail at any time during the lifetime of the original owner because of workmanship or material, we will either repair or replace it. The only exception would be for some customer requested modifications.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Any changes in your order will be confirmed by phone or emailed before your order is processed.
Shipping:
Any price quote given includes shipping within the continental United States. Shipping outside the USA is possible but may be cost prohibitive. Items will be carefully packaged, insured, shipped and delivered by common carrier service. The method of shipment will vary by size and complexity of piece and geographical location. Small boats and larger furniture pieces within New England will be hand delivered by Dan & Christine. In some areas we provide blanket wrap service, and in others, particularly where common carrier service is necessary, orders are crated. Our goal is to have your boat or furniture arrive in showroom condition.
Gifts & Small Items
The majority of gift items and smaller pieces are shipped either via UPS or similar carrier. Handling and shipping costs are included in the price quote.
Shipping Damage
Furniture pieces and boats: Our shippers have been thoroughly screened and damage is very rare. However, accidents sometimes happen, so please check all pieces as they are unpacked. If any damage is observed please advise the delivery personnel, and note the damage on the drivers paperwork (Bill of lading.) Also please immediately contact us at 603-449-2654 or via email at dan@clearstreamwood.com.
Gifts and small items: Please contact our shipping manager immediately and do not throw away any damaged goods or packaging materials. We will need these items to file a damage claim with UPS or other carrier.
