Now available for home builders:  For Beckson deckplates, Kayak Sport and VCP hatches.  These are the same carbon fiber hatch recesses used on our custom kayaks.  They are available either in plain weave or a beautiful 2X2 twill weave.  They are laminated from commercial grade carbon fiber (552 Ksi, 3K sizing at 12.5 weaves/inch).  Other fabrics (ie colored CF/FG or Kevlar blends) are available for additional cost.  Please inquire.

Designed to fit 6″ and 8″ pry-out and screw-out Beckson deckplates, Kayak Sport and VCP rubber hatches (round and oval).  The 6″ recess also can be used as a base for a number of compasses.  Best to install before joining the deck to the hull.

Our components are usually built on a to-order basis. Our turnaround time is generally 2-3weeks (longer, of course, if there is a backlog).

The prices listed below are for the carbon recesses only.  The deck plates and rubber hatches are not included.  They can be bought elsewhere (ie Defender Industries or Pygmy Boats).  Shipping is additional.
